Leadership Worthington hosts monthly sessions focused on personal and professional development, including sessions highlighting how the City of Worthington, Worthington Schools, Worthington Libraries, and area businesses and nonprofits work to serve our community. Through workshops, interactive exercises, and site tours, class participants will learn firsthand about the challenges these entities face and will help to seek solutions to those challenges.

Throughout the program and with the support of Worthington leaders, participants will use their leadership skills to develop and implement a project that will drive positive change within the Worthington community.

If you are an established or emerging leader who lives or works in the Worthington City School District and is energized by driving positive change, consider applying to Leadership Worthington!

Leadership Worthington participants will meet monthly on the first Tuesday between October 2025-April 2026. The sessions will meet in various Worthington locations from 8 am-2 pm and include lunch. We ask that participants commit to attending each session as they are all integral parts to the program.

The cost to participate in Leadership Worthington is $999. Applicants are encouraged to speak with their organizations about sponsorship or tuition reimbursement. If cost is prohibitive to joining Leadership Worthington, there is a scholarship available and applicants may indicate in the Leadership Worthington application that they are interested in receiving a scholarship.

Since 1990, Leadership Worthington has activated volunteers for Service Day, a community-wide event to support senior citizens and homebound neighbors within the Worthington School District to complete projects around their homes and property.

This event is managed by the current Leadership Worthington cohort as their capstone project. Together they will plan all aspects of this inspiring day of service for our community.

As the Leadership Worthington 2024 cohort begins the planning process, additional information will be provided on this website, such as the event date and how to get involved.

The Leadership Worthington Committee is a collaborative group of volunteers representing civic, business and nonprofit organizations throughout greater Worthington.
