The Worthington Area Chamber has served businesses of greater Worthington since 1958. Worthington’s longest standing business association, the Chamber hosts community events, development workshops and networking opportunities. The Chamber also provides cost savings benefits, special networks and other resources while supporting our businesses of all sizes.

What is the mission of the Worthington Area Chamber?

Our mission is to contribute to and support a competitive business environment for all greater Worthington businesses. We do that through a focus in three major areas: Economic development, workforce and education and business advocacy.

Who are the members of the Chamber?

The Worthington Area Chamber is supported by over 530 businesses who invest each year in our mission. Comprised of sole proprietors and entrepreneurs, along with some of central Ohio’s largest corporations, our membership spans from the Worthington School District into the surrounding areas.

Why should I join the Chamber?

The Worthington Area Chamber serves as a conduit for business, nonprofits and civic leaders to collaborate in ways that promote business-friendly regulations and development opportunities. Now more than ever, businesses need to development meaningful business relationships and the Chamber serves as that platform. Through our infinity programs, like our SOCA Benefits plan and other business resources, your Chamber provides opportunities to save you money and assist in your recruitment and retainment efforts.

I can't attend events, what's my membership do for me?

Simply put an opportunity to be promoted on our online and print directory. A small investment in hitting the hyper local market virtually and in their mailboxes.

Because of the investment and sponsorships our businesses provide, our Chamber can serve as a convener of business, civic and community. We're able to sit on multiple Vision Worthington committees, represent businesses in the search for a city manager and truly amplify the voice of business in our community.

May I attend events as a non-member?

Absolutely. We invite you to attend up to two of our member events to see what we’re all about. We think you’ll like what you see. Chamber events with registration fees will have a separate pricing for non-members.

Our community events like Old Worthington Market Day and Taste of Worthington are open to the public regardless of working or living in Worthington. Sponsorship opportunities are only available to our member businesses. We invite you to review our 5 Reasons to Invest in Your Chamber resource.
