Four Things I'm Thankful for This Year

Happy Thanksgiving!

This time of year is meant for reflection and giving thanks for all we have in our lives and those who helped along the way.

I wanted to share a few things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving:

  • Our new Chamber office. The amount of work it took to move out of such a large office was a huge undertaking for Crystal and me. Thank you to all the community groups who collected donated items and those who helped us move so much stuff. Thanks to Dr. Anthony Lordo and Jenny Saunders, FCBank, for providing us storage space. Huge shout out to Matt Gregory, NAI Ohio Equities, for helping us find a growing business to take on our lease. Finally, thank you to COhatch for our new digs.

  • Amplify Worthington x 3,000. Our Amplify Worthington podcast has had roughly 3,000 listens/ views and we share about all things business and economic development in our community. Special shout out to the best podcast partner in the game, David McCorkle, City of Worthington. Give it a listen and please leave us a review. Thank you to Ben and Joe at Boxland for making us look and sound like we know what we’re doing.

  • 535 businesses we value. We can’t thank you enough for investing in our Chamber. In my mind, our mission is to help you find solutions to the problems keeping you up at night. Email me any time to meet, discuss issues or so I can learn more about your business.

  • 350+ volunteers! Our Board is fully staffed for the first time since I’ve been with the Chamber. All our networks have Chairs and Vice Chairs leading the way into a New Year. I guestimate in total we had nearly 350 volunteers throughout the year who helped us host events, welcome new businesses, celebrate ribbon cuttings and more.

We have a lot to be thankful for throughout greater Worthington. We have fantastic services, a vibrant historic district and a diverse business community. Thank you for investing in our Chamber and allowing us to serve you.

From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
