Worthington Resource Pantry - New Directions Career Center Event

The Worthington Resource Pantry will host New Directions Career Center's first off-site, 10-day program for women in transition.
NDCC helps women define their own personal visions of career success and overcome barriers to their employment goals.  The agency helps them find a vocational identity through a curriculum incorporating self-exploration, self-compassion and confidence building, career-exploration, education preparation, and advanced self-marketing skills.  Services are offered on a sliding fee scale. NDCC also provides transportation assistance, childcare assistance, incentives for participation, free professional clothing, and a myriad of other graduate services to help support them after they’ve completed the program. 
The upcoming off-site program will take place at the Worthington Resource Pantry, weekdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., April 3 – 14, 2017.  Prior registration is required to enroll, but NDCC staff will be hosting a few offsite orientations and recruitment efforts in Worthington so that interested women don’t have to travel downtown to sign up for the program.
Two orientations will be conducted at the Worthington Resource Pantry for non-pantry affiliates on Friday, March 24, from noon – 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 30, from 2 – 4 p.m.
