DESCRIPTION:The Worthington Resource Pantry will host New Directions Career
  Center's first off-site\, 10-day program for women in transition. NDCC he
 lps women define their own personal visions of career success and overcome
  barriers to their employment goals. The agency helps them find a vocation
 al identity through a curriculum incorporating self-exploration\, self-com
 passion and confidence building\, career-exploration\, education preparati
 on\, and advanced self-marketing skills. Services are offered on a sliding
  fee scale. NDCC also provides transportation assistance\, childcare assis
 tance\, incentives for participation\, free professional clothing\, and a 
 myriad of other graduate services to help support them after they’ve com
 pleted the program. The upcoming off-site program will take place at the W
 orthington Resource Pantry\, weekdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.\, April 3 –
  14\, 2017. Prior registration is required to enroll\, but NDCC staff will
  be hosting a few offsite orientations and recruitment efforts in Worthing
 ton so that interested women don’t have to travel downtown to sign up fo
 r the program. Two orientations will be conducted at the Worthington Resou
 rce Pantry for non-pantry affiliates on Friday\, March 24\, from noon – 
 2 p.m. and Thursday\, March 30\, from 2 – 4 p.m. For information or to r
