Chamber Golf Outing 2016 - VOLUNTEERS

     
JOIN US AT THE CHAMBER'S ANNUAL GOLF OUTING!

The Chamber's annual Golf Outing is recognized as one of the best outings of its kind in central Ohio. The event is a great way to build relationships with a customer or client, reward a dedicated employee, or treat yourself to a day of golf while networking with other Chamber members. 
This year's event will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, at York Golf Club, 7459 N. High St. (shown in the aerial photo above).  

York boasts one of the most scenic courses around. Nestled along the banks of the Olentangy River, the course offers elevation changes that are not usually associated with central Ohio golf; it carves its way through trees and hills, providing a beautiful view.

The event has a scramble format. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and a shotgun start kicks off the event at 11 a.m. The registration fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a box lunch, picnic dinner and assorted beverages.
The number of golfers is limited to 130 players. Participants may register as singles, in pairs or as foursomes. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams, and golfers will have a chance to win additional prizes through a door prize drawing and skill holes on the course. Hole-in-one contests offer some exciting prizes, as well.  
 
Golf Privileges - $135 per golfer, or discounted rate of $500 per foursome, includes green fees and golf cart; practice range; lunch and beverages, complimentary beverages on course; shrimp and beverages at the turn; dinner; gift package; raffle tickets and door prizes. Note: To obtain the discounted $500 rate, all parties in a foursome must register at one time, through one representing registrant, with a single payment.

Standard Prize Package, $20 - Three mulligans, three raffle tickets and six door prize tickets
Premium Prize Package, $40 - Three mulligans, three raffle tickets, six door prize tickets, one gimme rope and one throw from a bunker
Sponsorship and promotional opportunities:
Premier Presenting Sponsor - FCBank is the premier presenting sponsor of the 2016 Golf Outing.
Corporate Sponsor - $1,200, includes golf for four and hole sponsorship ($625 value), exhibit and signage space and recognition in promotional materials, including press releases, Chamber website, e-newsletter and event program.  The Laurels of Norworth and Worthington, Allegra Columbus, B&C Blacktop Sealing Co., and Tilton's Automotive Service are corporate sponsors.
Beverage Cart Sponsor - $500, includes exclusive signage on a beverage cart and recognition in promotional materials and event program. Shelf Genie is a beverage cart sponsor.
Flag Sponsor - J. Liu Restaurant & Bar is returning as this this year's flag sponsor.
Hole-in-One Sponsor: Worthington Realty/Ted Oatts is returning as this this year's hole-in-one sponsor.
Tee Marker Sponsor - $350, includes logo on tee markers for all 18 holes and recognition in promotional materials and event program. Albright & Schnulo Family Eye Care and Danbury Columbus are tee marker sponsors.
Practice Range Sponsor - Telhio Credit Union is the practice range sponsor.
Putting Green Sponsor - Comfort Inn Polaris is this year's putting green sponsor.


Hole Sponsor - $125, includes signage on one golf hole and recognition in promotional materials and event program (Maximum of 36, including Chamber Sustaining Members). 
Dinner Sponsor - $1,000, includes a foursome of golf and promotion at the awards dinner.  Wright-Patt Credit Union is the dinner sponsor.
Lunch Sponsor - Chamber restaurants, caterers and food service establishments are encouraged to sponsor a boxed lunch for the golfers to carry with them on their carts or to enjoy before they depart for the course. Costco Wholesale and Made from Scratch are lunch sponsors.
Other Promotional Opportunities for Your Business:
Donate merchandise or services. Donors receive acknowledgment in the event program and after-event publicity. Items needed: Raffle prizes (gift certificates and prizes typically worth $50 - $100).  Silent auction items (e.g., rounds of golf, hotel overnights, restaurant gift certificates, electronics or small appliances). Gift bag items (assorted promotional items – (e.g., golf towels, pedometers, travel mugs, knapsacks, golf tees, hand sanitizer)

Volunteer on the planning committee or for day-of-event tasks.  Network with others and help them learn about your company as you assist the Chamber.
