DESCRIPTION:JOIN US AT THE CHAMBER'S ANNUAL GOLF OUTING! The Chamber's annu
 al Golf Outing is recognized as one of the best outings of its kind in cen
 tral Ohio. The event is a great way to build relationships with a customer
  or client\, reward a dedicated employee\, or treat yourself to a day of g
 olf while networking with other Chamber members. This year's event will be
  held on Monday\, Oct. 3\, at York Golf Club\, 7459 N. High St. (shown in 
 the aerial photo above). York boasts one of the most scenic courses around
 . Nestled along the banks of the Olentangy River\, the course offers eleva
 tion changes that are not usually associated with central Ohio golf\; it c
 arves its way through trees and hills\, providing a beautiful view. The ev
 ent has a scramble format. Registration begins at 10 a.m.\, and a shotgun 
 start kicks off the event at 11 a.m. The registration fee includes 18 hole
 s of golf with cart\, a box lunch\, picnic dinner and assorted beverages. 
 The number of golfers is limited to 130 players. Participants may register
  as singles\, in pairs or as foursomes. Prizes will be awarded to the top 
 finishing teams\, and golfers will have a chance to win additional prizes 
 through a door prize drawing and skill holes on the course. Hole-in-one co
 ntests offer some exciting prizes\, as well. Golf Privileges - $135 per go
 lfer\, or discounted rate of $500 per foursome\, includes green fees and g
 olf cart\; practice range\; lunch and beverages\, complimentary beverages 
 on course\; shrimp and beverages at the turn\; dinner\; gift package\; raf
 fle tickets and door prizes. Note: To obtain the discounted $500 rate\, al
 l parties in a foursome must register at one time\, through one representi

 ll 18 holes and recognition in promotional materials and event program. Al

 onsor. Putting Green Sponsor - Comfort Inn Polaris is this year's putting

  recognition in promotional materials and event program (Maximum of 36\, i
 ncluding Chamber Sustaining Members). Dinner Sponsor - $1\,000\, includes 
 a foursome of golf and promotion at the awards dinner. Wright-Patt Credit 
 Union is the dinner sponsor. Lunch Sponsor - Chamber restaurants\, caterer
 s and food service establishments are encouraged to sponsor a boxed lunch 
 for the golfers to carry with them on their carts or to enjoy before they 
 depart for the course. Costco Wholesale and Made from Scratch are lunch sp
 onsors. Other Promotional Opportunities for Your Business: Donate merchand
 ise or services. Donors receive acknowledgment in the event program and af
 ter-event publicity. Items needed: Raffle prizes (gift certificates and pr
 izes typically worth $50 - $100). Silent auction items (e.g.\, rounds of g
 olf\, hotel overnights\, restaurant gift certificates\, electronics or sma
 ll appliances). Gift bag items (assorted promotional items – (e.g.\, gol
 f towels\, pedometers\, travel mugs\, knapsacks\, golf tees\, hand sanitiz
 er) Volunteer on the planning committee or for day-of-event tasks. Network
  with others and help them learn about your company as you assist the Cham
 ber. Volunteers are recognized in the event program and after-event public
