Chamber Golf Outing 2014 - York Golf Club

     
The Chamber's annual Golf Outing is recognized as one of the best outings of its kind in central Ohio. The event is a great way to build relationships with a customer or client, reward a dedicated employee, or treat yourself to a day of golf while networking with other Chamber members. 
This year's event will be held on Monday, Sept. 29, at the newly redesigned course at York Golf Club, 7459 N. High St (shown in the aerial photo above). 

York is celebrating its 90th anniversary and is enjoying one of the most exciting seasons in its long history. "Not since the second nine holes were opened in 1931 has as dramatic a change occurred to our course," notes club manager Chuck Dahn. "The redesigned holes are among the most beautiful, challenging and (most importantly) fun in central Ohio."
 
York boasts one of the most scenic courses around. Nestled along the banks of the Olentangy River, the course offers elevation changes that are not usually associated with central Ohio golf; it carves its way through trees and hills, providing a beautiful view.

The event has a scramble format. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and a shotgun start kicks off the event at 11 a.m. The registration fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a box lunch, picnic dinner and assorted beverages.
The number of golfers is limited to 130 players. Participants may register as singles, in pairs or as foursomes. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams, and golfers will have a chance to win additional prizes through a door prize drawing and skill holes on the course. Hole-in-one contests, sponsored by Worthington Realty, will offer some exciting prizes, highlighted by a $5,000 cash prize (with a matching $5,000 prize for the Chamber).

A variety of sponsorship levels (outlined below) are available to businesses that would like to take advantage of the promotional opportunities at the outing.


Premier Presenting Sponsor - $1,600, includes a banner ad on the Chamber website for three months; golf for four a and hole sponsorship (more than a $625 value); exhibit (8-foot table) and signage space as golfers arrive and during dinner hour; opportunity for two minutes of “podium time” at the awards ceremony/dinner hour; recognition in promotional materials, including press releases, Chamber website, e-newsletter, and prominent placement in event program. Sponsor privileges assume that sponsorship is paid before Aug. 15 to enable inclusion in the communications referenced. (Maximum of one sponsor)

Corporate Sponsor - $1,200, includes golf for four and hole sponsorship ($625 value), exhibit and signage space and recognition in promotional materials, including press releases, Chamber website, e-newsletter and event program.   Sponsor privileges assume that sponsorship is paid before Aug. 15 to enable inclusion in the communications referenced. (Up to four sponsorships)

Beverage Cart Sponsor - $500, includes exclusive signage on a beverage cart and recognition in promotional materials and event program. (Two sponsors) 

Flag Sponsor - $1,000, includes a foursome of golf and custom golf flags imprinted with the sponsor's corporate logo at each hole, along with recognition in promotional materials, including press releases, Chamber website, e-newsletter and event program. (J. Liu Restaurant & Bar is returning as this this year's flag sponsor.)

Tee Marker Sponsor - $350, includes logo on tee markers for all 18 holes and recognition in promotional materials and event program (Maximum of four sponsors)
Practice Range Sponsor - $250, includes exclusive signage space on driving range and recognition in promotional materials and event program. (One sponsor)  
Putting Green Sponsor - $250, includes exclusive signage space on putting green and recognition in promotional materials and event program. (One sponsor)

Hole Sponsor - $125, includes signage on one golf hole and recognition in promotional materials and event program (Maximum of 36, including Chamber Sustaining Members)

Lunch Sponsor - Friendship Village of Columbus, a repeat winner of the Peoples’ Choice Award at A Taste of Worthington, is this year's box lunch sponsor. The box lunches will include hearty sandwiches (turkey, roast beef, ham or veggies), fruit, potato chips and cookies. Enjoy your lunch before you depart for the course or take it along on the cart to enjoy along the way.
Golf Privileges  - $135 per golfer, or discounted rate of $500 per foursome, includes green fees and golf cart; practice range; lunch and beverages, complimentary beverages on course; shrimp and beverages at the turn; dinner; gift package; raffle tickets and door prizes. Note: To obtain the discounted $500 rate, all parties in a foursome must register at one time, through one representing registrant, with a single payment.

Other Promotional Opportunities for Your Business
Donate merchandise or services. Donors receive acknowledgment in the event program and after-event publicity.
