Worthington Realty - Worthington's Got Talent 2014 at The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center

The finals event for this local talent contest is scheduled yearly at The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center on the second Saturday in October. This year's date is Oct. 11, 2014, starting at 6:30 p.m. The first-place prize is $3,000; second-place prize is $2,000; and third-place prize is $1,000! Tryouts will be held in September at the MAC. Contestants must be high school age or above and songs must be family friendly, rated G. There is no charge to contestants for tryout. Tickets to events for visitors are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door. (Children 13 and under are free if seats are available.) All ticket proceeds go to the Essential Tremor Foundation. Founding corporate sponsors are Worthingtn Realty and Oatts Music in cooperation with The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center. Support for the event also comes from community businesses.
