Schreiner Ace Hardware will host a truck and crew from the Worthington Fire Department on Oct. 12, during National Fire Prevention Week. This year's theme is kitchen safety.
The activity follows a week-long celebration of the national observance that includes an Oct. 6 open house at the Worthington Fire Department.
Schreiner Ace Hardware will offer First Alert smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors on sale for $13.99 through the end of the month, and will conduct safety demonstrations and fire safety information sessions at their Worthington store on Oct. 12.
