Northwest Counseling Services: Free Senior Citizen Educational Seminar

Northwest Counseling Services and the Rotary Club of Upper Arlington will sponsor a free educational conference on older adult issues. The event will include a continental breakfast and boxed lunch, resource displays, seminars about anxiety and depression in older adults and about Franklin County's Direct Debit Program for property taxes.

Speakers will include Dr. Christopher Banks, Psychiatrist, and Franklin County Treasurer, Ed Leonard.

Resource displays will include local programs and businesses aimed at older adults including health care, assisted living and housing options.

This event is well-suited for older adults, family caregivers and professionals. Two continuing education units will be offered for licensed social workers.

Community members needing transportation are asked to call Carol Savage by March 5th at 273-2963. To reserve a space at the conference, please call the registration line at 457-7876 ext. 432 no later than March 7, 2008.
