DESCRIPTION:Northwest Counseling Services and the Rotary Club of Upper Arli
 ngton will sponsor a free educational conference on older adult issues. Th
 e event will include a continental breakfast and boxed lunch\, resource di
 splays\, seminars about anxiety and depression in older adults and about F
 ranklin County's Direct Debit Program for property taxes. Speakers will in
 clude Dr. Christopher Banks\, Psychiatrist\, and Franklin County Treasurer
 \, Ed Leonard. Resource displays will include local programs and businesse
 s aimed at older adults including health care\, assisted living and housin
 g options. This event is well-suited for older adults\, family caregivers 
 and professionals. Two continuing education units will be offered for lice
 nsed social workers. Community members needing transportation are asked to
  call Carol Savage by March 5th at 273-2963. To reserve a space at the con
