About this event
The Young Professionals of Worthington, presented by City National Bank, is hosting an epic panel discussion featuring three dynamite young business owners. Take part in a breakfast development event sure to leave you inspired. Panelists Include: CARLYN PITTERLE: Carlyn is the owner and CEO of Inkline Printing located in Worthington, Ohio. She launched the business in the fall of 2020 after working as Chief Operating Officer for Traxler Printing. Her adventure in apparel began in 2013 working for the startup clothing brand Buy Me Brunch in San Francisco, California. There she started fulfilling eCommerce orders and, as the business rapidly grew, was promoted to a position in inventory management and analytics. While she loves spreadsheets and business operations, she in fact earned a BFA degree in Dance from the University Of Wisconsin Madison in 2011. She relocated from San Francisco to Columbus in 2017 and continues performing in the professional dance and aerial company Anna and the Annadroids. Outside of running a business, she teaches aerial dance and fitness classes at Aerotique Columbus. Her creativity and penchant for perfection as a performer translate to a passion for meticulous care and attention to detail in her screen printing and apparel decorating business. She is committed to connecting with the community and helping provide local businesses with the highest quality customized goods. Carlyn serves on the Worthington Chamber Women's Business Network committee and was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees. JAMIE CLEVERLEY: Jamie serves as President for Cleverley & Associates, where he has worked since 2003. Mr. Cleverley consults with hospital and healthcare organizations to identify financial and operating opportunities, as well as related strategies for performance improvement. Prior to joining the firm, he directed a statewide health services program. Mr. Cleverley has authored over fifty books and articles dealing with healthcare financial analysis and application, including the annual Community Value Index® hospital survey, The State of the Hospital Industry, and The Essentials of Health Care Finance. He is a two-time recipient of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Yerger/Seawell Best Article award. Mr. Cleverley received his Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University in 2004. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1999 JOSHUA SKEENS: For over 20 years, Joshua Skeens has been a noteworthy leader in the Cybersecurity and Information Technology industry. In his role as Chief Executive Officer at Logically, Joshua is passionate about taking a proactive customer-centric approach to protecting customers’ environments and securing their organizations for the future. Joshua joined Logically through the acquisition of Cerdant where Skeens played a pivotal role in taking the company from a 4-person security start-up to a 70-person cybersecurity company powerhouse before exit. Over the past two decades, Skeens held multiple executive leadership roles overseeing Managed Services, Professional Services, Operations, and Cybersecurity. Skeens takes a personal interest in elevating talent within the organization and empowering people to develop both personally and professionally. During his time at Cerdent, Skeens created Cerdant University, a company training program dedicated to education around essential products and services. Heavily invested in the cybersecurity industry, Skeens serves on SonicWall’s partner advisory board and is involved in (ISC)² and Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University, and a cybersecurity degree from Hocking College. When not working to deliver exceptional customer service and security for Logically’s customers, Skeens and his wife can most likely be found in Charleston, SC where they love to tour the historic city. Skeens also enjoys spending time with his family at the family farm in southern Ohio.
