Worthington Chapter DAR to Host Ceremony on National Wreaths Across America Day

Worthington Chapter DAR, an official Wreaths Across America (WAA) fund raising group, will host a
ceremony and wreath laying, joining more than 1,200 other locations across the country for National Wreaths
Across America Day to place wreaths on the headstones of our fallen service members. This annual event
seeks to further the WAA mission of Remember, Honor and Teach, ensuring that the memory of those who
served our country endures. This year's theme is Live up to their Legacy.
*Following the ceremony, the public is invited to lay wreaths at:
Walnut Grove Cemetery- Circle of Honor, 5561 Milton Ave, Worthington, OH

Ceremonial Wreaths will be placed during the ceremony by service members for the following
branches of service:
US Army; US Marine Corps; US Navy; US Air Force; US Coast Guard; US Space Force and
one honoring service members declared POW/MIA
