Join the conversation when the Women's Business Network of the Chamber holds its next event on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Because of COVID, business women in the Worthington chamber don't have the same opportunities as we've had in recent years to connect and convene in person. But we DO have even more reasons than ever, in these unsettling times, to reinforce our business connections, seek new resources of help and collaboration, and to empower aspiring young business women to career opportunities.

Continuing the traditions of this group with some modifications, including a virtual format, we will connect business women from the Chamber and guests for a vritual networking event and an opportunity to:

Build careers through our Women's Business Network scholarship program. Meet the winner of this year's scholarship, Neelima Gopinath from Thomas Worthington High School -- and learn about her career plans. Support the scholarship fund by making announcements about your business (see details below).
Build rapport and business connections as you network with other attendees. You will have an opportunity to introduce yourself and share information about your business.
Participate in a conversation about "resilience" during the pandemic. How have you been resilient in the operation of your business, your profession, or your work-life balance (e.g., home schooling, etc.) to stay successful and calm? What advice would you give our scholarship honoree about resilience as she begins her college and professional journey?

Reservations are required by Aug. 3. Registration is free for Chamber members, and a donation of $10 is requested for guests and for anyone who wishes to share up to a two-minute announcement other than her introduction. However, registration is required to obtain the login credentials and password to join the meeting.
