Virtual Business After Hours (BAH) Hosted by I Am Boundless

Join fellow Chamber members and guests on Wednesday, July 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., for our very first VIRTUAL Business After Hours. The event will be hosted by I Am Boundless and will feature a Bastille Day theme with lots of door prizes from LaChatelaine, which will celebrate that event the prior day with menu specialties. Ampersand Flowers & Events will provide red, white and blue florals for the event and additional door prizes.

Attendance for Chamber members is free, as always, but registration will be required for attendance. Your registration confirmation will include the login information for the event, conducted via Zoom. Please note the earlier time frame for the event, chosen for the work-at-home and modified-schedule arrangements that are common during our COVID-related "new normal" business arrangements.

MODEL YOUR MASK - Does your protective face mask promote your brand, match your outfit, or express your personality or company culture? If so, you may win a door prize for the most fitting or unusual face protector. To participate in the "competition," select that option on the REGISTER link, along with your registration information, and you'll be introduced in the first few minutes of the event to tell us about your mask choice. Judges from chamber volunteer leadership will pick the winner(s) to receive a gift certificate.

TOAST THE HOST - In another opportunity to introduce yourself and one of your favorite Chamber-member businesses, you can choose to show off your favorite wine, beer or other beverage purchased at a Chamber-member restaurant, bar, wine shop or grocer. Tell us where you purchased it, why you chose it, and then we'll "toast the host," I Am Boundless. All Toast the Host participants will be entered into a separate door prize drawing. SALUTE THE SPONSORS - Meet the principals of I Am Boundless, take a virtual tour of their facility, and learn more about the important work they perform for individuals with disabilities. Also meet the owners of LaChatelaine French Bakery & Cafe and Ampersand Flowers & Events, who are featured door-prize sponsors.

ZOOM INTO A ROOM - Participate in Zoom Room networking to meet others and tell them about your Chamber-member business. Several virtual rooms will be opened. You'll be randomly assigned to one and invited to participate in discussion topic facilitated by a member of the Chamber's board of trustees.

WIN - WIN - By pre-registering (with the REGISTER link on this page), you automatically will be entered into the general door prize drawings. To take advantage of additional door prize drawings, you may choose to participate in the Model Your Mask or Toast the Host activity described above. Simply add those options to your registration information if you plan to be included. And ...EVERYONE WINS when you register and attend. All BAH attendees will be mailed a gift certificate for $5 toward a future purchase at La Chatelaine. (We will mail the certificate to the business address on file in our member database.) Enjoy breakfast/brunch, a lunch special, a dinner entree or carryout menu, a baguette, pastry or delicious daily-made soups. Bon appetit!

Pre-register before noon on July 14 to be included. You automatically will be included in the general door prize drawings, will receive a gift coupon if you attend, and will be assigned randomly to a Zoom Room for networking. Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses. Attendance at BAH events is considered a privilege of membership.  Members may attend this event free of charge. Guests (spouses, friends, and referrals who are considering membership) are welcome at this virtual event for $10 per person. The guest fee is credited toward membership dues to those who join the organization. The fee is payable in advance by credit card. Donations also are accepted on the registration page.
