Chamber Golf Outing 2020 at York Golf Club

JOIN US AT THE CHAMBER'S ANNUAL GOLF OUTING!
 

There's still time to get out on the golf course with Chamber members and friends at the Chamber's annual Golf Outing on Monday, Oct. 5, at York Golf Club, 7459 N. High St. (43235).

The annual outing is a great way to build relationships with a customer or client, reward a dedicated employee, or treat yourself to a day of exercise while networking safely with other Chamber members.

The scramble-type event has been modified only slightly this year to comply with current public health regulations, and will still provide a host of fun and relaxing opportunities for exercise and networking. In lieu of a buffet dinner in the clubhouse, sponsors will be honored, and outing winners, skill prize winners and door prize winners will be announced at a Zoom event the next day (Tuesday, Oct. 6, beginning at 11:30 a.m.). See the separate registration link below. Face masks and hand sanitizer will be provided and required for restroom visits, pro shop browsing, or optional bar purchases inside the clubhouse. Mobile scoring via a smartphone app will replace traditional score cards. Golfers will be provided with the app after registration.

Event fees and schedule:

Check-in with safe distancing begins at 10 a.m., when they will receive a goody bag, a box lunch and door prize entries to be completed and deposited in the entry box.

A shotgun start will kick off the event at 11 a.m.

Participants may register as singles, in pairs or as foursomes. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams, and golfers will have a chance to win additional prizes through a door prize drawing and skill holes on the course. Hole-in-one contests offer some exciting prizes, as well, including a top prize of $10,000 to be split with the Chamber for a hole in one on Hole #11.

Golf Privileges, priced at $115 per golfer, or a discounted rate of $450 per foursome, include green fees for 18 holes of golf and golf cart; practice range; a boxed lunch from top-rated restaurant, The Whitney House, and bottled water courtesy of FCBank; three complimentary beverages on the course; shrimp and Bloody Marys served at the turn by The Laurels; a "goody bag" gift package; and door prizes chances (automatic entry into all door prizes). Note: To obtain the discounted rate, all parties in a foursome must register at one time, through one representing registrant, with a single payment.

All fees and prize package purchases should be paid in advance, either through online registration or by calling the Chamber office (614-888-3040) with a credit card. In addition to golf registration and sponsorships, also available for advance purchase are:

Premium Prize Package, $40 - Three mulligans, six additional door prize tickets, one gimme rope and one throw from a bunker

Volunteers are needed for event preparation and day-of-event tasks. Network with others and help them learn about your company as you assist the Chamber.
