About this Event:

Ampersand Flowers & Events will open officially on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.  A reception will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the official ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m. by the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce. Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres from Bosc + Brie, live music by Jen Miller and Dean Marcelleana, desserts from Peace, Love & Little Donuts, and much more.

There are three available parking lots: one directly in front of the building; one to the south of the building, with entry on Chase; and one to the north of the building, with entry on Selby. (Also, free street parking can be found on Selby, Chase or Lincoln.)

Ampersand Flowers & Events features a Build-Your-Own Bouquet Bar, where guests can create a custom bouquet starting at $2 a stem. Or, the staff at Ampersand can create a custom bouquet for you.  Ampersand also offers centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres, garlands, large-scale installations, and more for weddings and special events.  Additionally, the flower shop can host private events for up to 40 guests — ideal for bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners and birthdays.

The shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday; private events can be hosted during or outside of regular business hours.
