Groundhog Day Business Forecast Breakfast/Eggs & Issues Series

Join other Chamber members and guests on Groundhog Day, Friday, Feb. 1, at Brookside Golf and Country Club for Worthington's annual Groundhog Day Business Forecast. The event is part of the Eggs & Issues breakfast series presented collaboratively by the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Worthington.

As the Groundhog prepares a 2019 weather forecast, Worthington leaders will share their forecasts for activity in the coming year and their priorities that influence, and are influenced by, the local economy.  In lively Pecha Kucha style (20 slides with 20 seconds of commentary each for each presenter), you'll share in the ideas and action plans for the City of Worthington, the Worthington School District and Worthington Libraries. Following the presentations, audience members may direct questions to City Manager Matt Greeson, School Superintendent Trent Bowers, and Northwest Library Manager Jeff Regensburger representing Worthington Libraries. The breakfast event will be held on from 7 to 9 a.m.  Check-in and the buffet breakfast will begin at 7 a.m.  The program will begin at 7:30 a.m. (Please arrive between 7 and 7:15 a.m. to ensure you have time to check in, go through the buffet line, visit sponsor booths and find a seat before the program begins.)
