Benefit Fashion Show to Support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
On Sunday, Oct. 8, The Shops at Worthington Place, in conjunction with ModeAlise, are hosting a charity fashion show with the proceeds going to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The event opens at 5 p.m. with a sampling of the food and beverages available at the mall and the surrounding area.
A silent auction will feature items from the merchants at The Shops at Worthington Place and local arts organizations. The fashion show will start at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are a $25 donation and include a $25 gift certificate to ModeAlise Boutique to be used that evening or the following week. Tickets are $30 if purchased that night.
Tickets can be purchased at ModeAlise Boutique, at The Shops at Worthington Place, with checks made out to JDRF or can be purchased online at JDRF.org.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( JDRF) is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Their mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
This event is in partnership with WCBE, Columbus’ community NPR station.
Live auction items include a 50-person dance party, Weekend in Worthington basket and luggage.
