The interactive energy of successful businesswomen that fueled last month's Progressive Power Luncheon will continue this month, as the Women's Business Network of the Chamber presents "40 Ideas in 40 Minutes"on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center, 10561 Sawmill Pkwy. (43065).
Bring one — or several — good ideas or tips that help you save time, money or stress in your professional and personal life. What habit or technique, technology tip, mobile app, book or resource helps you balance work and family, or operate more efficiently?
Share a technology tip or PC shortcut, the link to a website where you find great resources, a guerilla marketing strategy, a networking/business- building strategy, a business habit or organizational method, a stress-relieving activity, or any other idea that you think might be valuable to other businesswomen. You may bring supplemental handouts, brochures or reference materials (such as a card with the download instructions for a mobile app) to share more details about your idea.
You will gain business exposure as you introduce yourself and your business as you present each idea to the group from the podium at the front of the room. Each tip should be described in 45 to 60 seconds to allow for a maximum of new ideas.
Registration is REQUIRED. To register, click on REGISTER NOW on the screen at right and follow the prompts. Please specify in the comment section if you have special dietary needs. Be sure to click "submit" when completed.
Call 888-3040 for further details or assistance in registering. Cost: $22/Chamber members; $27/non-members (Fee must be paid at time of registration). Support our scholarship fund by making announcements ($5/member; $10/guest) and participating in door prize drawings ($1/member/guest).
