Great Choices: Business After Hours (BAH), Ribbon-Cutting and Membership Invitation Event at Comfort Inn Polaris

The Chamber's next Business After Hours is all about Great CHOICES ...

You'll be making a great choice when you join other Chamber members and guests — including business professionals you invite to consider membership in our Chamber — for the "Great Choices"  BAH on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  at Comfort Inn Polaris, a CHOICE hotel, at 8400 Lyra Drive (off Polaris Parkway).

Join us from hotel tours and a ribbon-cutting to unveil new hotel renovations and meet Comfort Inn hotel management and officials from the Choice hotel chain.

From 5:30 to 7:30, enjoy networking, door prizes, foods and beverages, along with brief presentations from several Chamber members about why their companies make the wise CHOICE to join the Chamber. The ribbon-cutting will be held at 6 p.m.

Bring a guest whose business would benefit from Chamber membership. At this special membership invitation event, attendance will be complimentary for prospective members of the Chamber. And, your membership prospect will be entered into a drawing for a Choice hotel getaway at Comfort Suites in Berlin, Ohio, the heart of Ohio's Amish Country (IF that company joins the Chamber before the next monthly Business After Hours in September).

Bruschette Paolo – toasted ciabatta bread layered with fresh herb and goat cheese spread, topped with roasted red pepper sauce
Arancini (risotto poppers)  - Risotto, sausage and red peppers
Tuscan steak skewers with Chianti demi-glazewith lemon butter
Prosciutto-wrapped pork tenderloin topped with port wine fig sauce
Cannoli – pastry shells stuffed with sweet ricotta and chocolate chips, topped with pistachios, chocolate glaze and powdered sugar


The Comfort Inn encourages BAH guests to bring a charitable donation to the event to benefit CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, a charitable arm of Lutheran Social Services, a Worthington-headquartered Chamber-member nonprofit. Since 1977, CHOICES has provided counseling, shelter, crisis intervention, education, and community and legal support and advocacy to central Ohio residents facing domestic violence. Comfort Inn will stock the donation box with hotel toiletries for CHOICES shelters. Here is a "wish list" for the agency:
