The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center: Eating Disorders Training Day

The theme for the Spring 2014 Eating Disorders Training Day is "Eating and Co-existing Disorders: Professionals and Families Come Together to Heal Together." This exciting day features local and national speakers and is open to both professionals and family members. The keynote speakers are Stephen A. Wonderlich, PhD and Carrie Arnold, MA, MPH. Dr. Wonderlich will be presenting "Integrative Cognitive-Affective Therapy (ICAT) for Bulimic Symptoms" and Ms. Arnold will be presenting "Decoding Eating Disorders: Why Sufferers Care about Neuroscience". Participants will be able to choose one of two workshops, "Childhood Trauma and Disordered Eating" by Dr. Wonderlich or "Family Strategies for Enhancing Eating Disorder Outcomes Using DBT" by Jason McCray, PhD. The full day of training includes a lunch session "Eating with ED" by Sonja Stotz, RD, LD. There will be a time for networking and Q&A. CEUs and MCEs available for professionals.
