Barnes & Thornburg LLP: Your SALES TALK could lead to an antitrust investigation.
This seminar will discuss the basics of U.S. antitrust compliance to train your salespeople before trade shows and industry association meetings on what they need to know to avoid any antitrust investigation. Your sales employees sometimes meet and deal with the competitors in different settings. Often your company and your competitors will need to discuss joint ventures, supply arrangements and toll manufacturing. Media attention often focuses on executives of large companies, but antitrust issues are also important for small companies. This seminar will provide a basic understanding of antitrust compliance for your management and sales forces and introduce the current focus of the Japanese and U.S. governments’ joint efforts to aggressively investigate violations. You will learn what types of activities may suppress competition.
The seminar will be conducted in both English and Japanese.
Networking reception will be held after seminar.
