Meet Franklin County Recorder Daphne Hawk and our 2012 Scholarship Honorees


About our speaker: Daphne Hawk, Franklin County Recorder






Daphne Hawk is the county's 27th Recorder and the first woman to serve as Franklin County Recorder.



Since her appointment in January 2011, she has cut the Recorder's annual budget by 7 percent for a savings of over $250,000. She installed a credit card kiosk, removed the website password requirement, made the site easier to navigate, and added new search tools. In addition, Recorder documents are now linked on the website to both the Auditor's records and Sheriff Sale Listings.



For the past 16 years, Daphne has enjoyed a successful real estate sales career, served as a sales trainer and faculty member, and was a vice president and CEO for two large local real estate brokerages.



Daphne is a lifelong resident of the Grove City area, where she previously served as a township trustee.
