City of Worthington: Public Meeting - Recreation Trail Extension

The City of Worthington is applying for a grant through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in order to build a new section of multi-use recreational trail. The proposed trail would link the existing trail at the Olentangy Parklands to the Shops at Worthington Place and the High Street Corridor. This idea was suggested by the Wilson Bridge Road Steering Committee which identified the need for connectivity and pedestrian access along the Wilson Bridge Road Corridor.
A public meeting will be held at the Shops at Worthington Place on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.. This meeting is an open house format, and the public is encouraged to attend and review the proposed plan for the trail.
