Sunday, June 12, 2011, starting at 9 a.m. at Thomas Worthington High School, 300 W. Dublin-Granville Road


5-Mile Run
  $25 fee

  $30 after June 1 or at the door
  No dogs, baby joggers or inline skates


3-Mile Walk
  $10 fee per walker
  Maximum $40 fee per family
  Baby joggers are welcome; dogs permitted
  No inline skates


Packet Pick-Up
  June 10 & 11 at the Worthington Community Center
  345 E. Wilson Bridge Road
  OR race day at the event (8 A.M.)


Brief Description


This race honors Gary Smith who coached track and cross country for 30 years in the Worthington District. Race is organized by a committee of former student/athletes coached by Gary. Proceeds go to pediatric cancer research and family support per Gary's wish.


Awards and Prizes


Awards will be presented to the Top 3 race finishers, male and female in age groups ranging from U14, 15-19,20-24 and so on to over 60. 11 age groups in total


The first 200 registrants will receive a Gary Smith Classic technical shirt.


Race Proceeds


Proceeds from the Gary Smith Classic go towards pediatric cancer research and family support in the central Ohio area.
