Northwest Counseling Services: 7th Annual Educational Forum on Older Adult Issues

Northwest Counseling Services will offer the 7th Annual Educational Forum on Older Adult  Issues on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. This is a free event and is open to any interested community member.   The event will include continental breakfast, resource displays, and two speakers. Dr. Joseph M. Novi, D.O., of the Riverside Methodist Hospital specializing in Urogynecology will present
“Experience Freedom Again” discussing the treatment of pelvic disorders and incontinence in women.   In addition, Dr. Joette Greenstein, D.O., Assistant Program Director, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Family Practice Residency will present “Patient Complaints vs. Doctor Concerns.”   Dr. Greenstein’s special focus is Geriatric Medicine. Resource displays will include local programs and businesses aimed
at older adults including health care, community services, assisted living and housing options.   The program will take place at a new location, Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Road, 43220.   The event is well-suited for older adults, family caregivers and professionals. 2.0 continuing educational units will be offered for social workers and counselors.   Seating
