McConnell Arts Center: Adam Rafferty

Adam Rafferty is an amazingly talented solo finger style guitarist, residing in NYC, that is a culmination of his many years of being dedicated and scratching a living out of his instrument. From the blues he learned “on the streets” as a youth in his hometown of Harlem through the upscale music rooms and concert halls of Europe – he has honed his art of playing guitar to include many simultaneous parts ioncluding percussive contributions from his fingers on the guitar and his mouth.
