Acme Canine: AKC Puppy STAR / Kindergarten

What makes Puppy STAR different than regular group class? The class age is designed for dogs up to one year of age (at beginning of class). There is a lot of focus on owner responsibility and the opportunity to build and develop the relationship with your dog. There will be an intense focus on obedience to encourage strong habits rather than correct bad behaviors. There is a test at the end of the six week course. Upon successful completion you and your puppy will be registered in the AKC Puppy STAR database, receive discounts on microchipping through CAR, get enrolled to receive the AKC monthly newsletter and receive a certificate. This class is also designed as a stepping stone to Canine Good Citizen certification. Limit six dogs. Cost $250 with $100 deposit to reserve spot.
