Northwest Counseling Services: Older Adult Forum

A free educational conference on older adult issues will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 9:00-1:30pm sponsored by Northwest Counseling Services.  The event will include continental breakfast, resource displays, and a well know cardiologist (Dr. Judson S. Milhon, Jr.) speaking on the subject- Keeping your heart healthy. A free box lunch will be provided. Resource displays will include local programs and businesses aimed at older adults including health care, assisted living and housing options. 
The program will take place at First Community Church, north campus, 3777 Dublin Road, just north of Fishinger Road.  The event is well-suited for older adults, family caregivers and professionals. 1.5 continuing educational units will be offered for licensed social workers.
