Cosmopolitan flair, with black and silver cityscapes and glints of midnight blue, will welcome guests to “A Night on the Town” as a backdrop for the Chamber’s 11th annual Reds, Whites & Desserts event on Saturday, May 17, from 7 to 10:30 p.m.  The popular Chamber fundraiser returns for the fourth year to The Conference Center at NorthPointe, located at the corner of Route 23 (High Street) and Powell Road/Polaris Parkway.

The event offers wine tasting and advice from wine experts, hors d’oeuvres, desserts for sampling and auction, and approximately 50 silent auction packages featuring travel, food, wine, fashion, sports, family fun and other themes. Attendance is approximately 350. Cocktail dress and dressy business attire are appropriate.

The Conference Center at NorthPointe will offer special hotel rates for guests who would like to extend their evening to include overnight accommodations following the wine tasting and auction event.  Contact Erin Ellis at 880-4202 for details.

In addition to The Conference Center at NorthPointe, Major Event Sponsors include Huntington National Bank, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s and B & C Blacktop Sealing Co.

Wines will be sampled at nine wine stations staffed by House Wine, The Hills Market (two stations), Buca di Beppo, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Two Brothers Wine & Spirits (two stations), Weiland's Gourmet Market and The Winery.

The event offers numerous opportunities for Chamber member businesses to promote their companies.  They include:



Major Event Sponsorships ($1,000 includes a reserved table for six and multiple signage and promotional opportunities)


Wine Station Sponsorships ($650 for a reserved table of six and advertising opportunities)


Patron Sponsorships ($350 for four tickets and a business card-size program ad)


Friend Sponsorships ($225 for four tickets and a listing in the program)


Donations of auction items (Member businesses interested in auction prize donations should contact subcommittee chair Corrine Konecny at 825-2377, or the Chamber at 888-3040.)
