Worthington International Friendship Association - Building Bridges to China

The Worthington International Friendship Association (WIFA) invites you to an enlightening evening of conversation with several Worthington area residents who recently traveled to China. A number of Chinese artifacts and artworks will be displayed and discussed.

The panelists are: Charlie Wilson, Worthington school board member; Jill Carter, Worthington elementary school teacher; Miriam Utter, WIFA Board member and past president; Don Utter, WIFA Board member; and Susan Costakos-Slomka, Board member.

Whether traveling as educators or private citizens, they came home with a common experience and purpose -- to continue to find ways to learn from and strengthen our relationship with the people of China.

Refreshments will be served.

Following the program, participants are invited to view the Art of China exhibit, sponsored by the Worthington Arts Council, on display from January 14 to February 11 at the Worthington Community Center, 345 E. Wilson Bridge Rd.
