Learn How to Get Rid of That Pain In Your Neck
Do you have a pain in your neck? Do your knees give you grief? Dr. Joe Wilcox, a local orthopedic surgeon, will walk you through the basics of healthy bones and joints when Healthy Worthington Coalition kicks off its 2007-2008 lecture series. The free lectures are from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
Dr. Wilcox is an orthopedic surgeon trained in sports medicine at Northeast Orthopedics Inc. in Westerville. He has received extensive training in the operative and nonoperative treatment of a wide variety of sports medicine injuries. Dr. Wilcox has served as the team physician for Westerville Central High School for the past five years and is currently the orthopedic consultant for Otterbein College and Kenyon College. In addition, he acts as team physician for many regional clubs including the Westerville Worms and Big League Baseball. He has been very active in orthopedic research and has several published articles.
Dr. Wilcox, an alumni of Worthington High School, graduated with honors from medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago.
