 Muertos (and sometimes mistaken as a Halloween character). But where Europ
 ean and Halloween imagery tends to treat skeletons and death as something 
 eerie or frightening\, Catrina reflects a different tradition. In many Lat
 in American cultures\, death isn't hidden away or feared\, it's treated wi
 th familiarity\, humor\, and even affection\, a natural part of life rathe
 r than the end of connection to it. Catrina embodies that spirit: elegant\
 , playful\, and unafraid\, a celebration of life as much as a nod to death
 . Join us for a costume and cocktail event around La Catrina. Bring your b
