 bout the Citizens Police Academy being cancelled. This is not true. The Ci
 tizens Police Academy is scheduled to begin January 21\, 2026. We hope you
  will register today. The Worthington Division of Police invites any Worth
 ington resident or employee within the city to participate in the Worthing
 ton Citizens Police Academy. If you do not live or work in Worthington but
  are still interested in law enforcement\, we invite you to apply as well!
  Participants will see aspects of what it is like to be a law enforcement 
 officer and gather an understanding of the necessary tools and information
  needed to perform the job. Certified sworn officers teach the course and 
 provide real-life scenarios requiring split decision-making efforts. Pleas

 ociation (WPAAA) is an Ohio non-profit corporation whose mission is to: SU
 PPORT the activities of the City of Worthington\, Division of Police and t
 o help build a stronger and safer community\; TO SERVE as a liaison betwee
 n\, and to enable and nurture positive communication\, mutual understandin
 g and support between\, the citizens of Worthington and the Worthington Di
 vision of Police\; TO RECOGNIZE the contributions of the officers of the W
 orthington Division of Police and to provide support in times of need\; TO
  SUPPORT the activities of The National Citizen's Police Academy Associati
 on for so long as it is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c
 )(3) of the Internal Revenue code\, or the corresponding section of any fu
 ture federal tax code\; and TO DO any and all activities and undertakings 
 in furtherance of the foregoing which may be conducted by organizations ex
 empt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Reven
 ue Code\, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code\, an

  6PM on the third Monday of each month at the Worthington Division of Poli
