  Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as he discusses available r
 esources to small businesses and a free assessment available to you to ide
 ntify areas of improvement in your business plan. MEET OUR SPEAKER: Michae
 l Bowers is a Business Advisor and Director for the Ohio Small Business De
 velopment Center (SBDC) at Columbus State Community College. The primary f
 ocus of the SBDC is to support prospective and existing entrepreneurs as t
 hey seek to start and grow businesses in Central Ohio. Michael holds a Bac
 helor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of North Ala
 bama and a Master’s in Public Administration from The Ohio State Univers
 ity. Michael is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Public Administrat
 ion from Liberty University. Michael has worked with entrepreneurs and sma
 ll business owners for over 30 years\, 20 of which have been in Columbus l
 eading the SBDC. He has a diverse business skill set with experience in ba
 nking\, private equity\, strategic planning\, leadership and public sector

 his is a monthly workshop for small business leaders of member businesses 
 with nine or less employees. This supportive network joins across industri

  navigate common small business challenges. This group is facilitated and 
 managed by a Chair and Vice Chair who are small business leaders and focus
 ed on being run by small business leaders in a casual and dynamic format.
