 ing Lot As the winner of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s first-e
 ver Smart City Challenge\, Columbus was awarded $50 million in grant fundi
 ng and the designation as America’s Smart City. The initiative seeks to 
 transform mobility in Central Ohio\, and change what it’s like to live i
 n this community. Smart Columbus is working to deploy more affordable\, re
 liable and sustainable transportation options. In support of this effort\,
  on Friday\, Oct. 11\, AAA is hosting the Smart Columbus Ride & Drive Road
 show in the parking lot at 90 E. Wilson Bridge Road\, home to AAA's state 
 headquarters and the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce. This is your op
 portunity to get behind the wheel of some of the newest electric vehicles 
 on the market. You’ll also be able to discover the multimodal transit op
 tions Central Ohio has to offer and learn how easy\, efficient and afforda
 ble it is to be a part of the future of transportation. The Roadshow will 
 will held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Drivers will sign up for specific 30- to
