 KET DAY 2016 will be held on Saturday\, Sept. 24\, 2016\, rain or shine. L
 ocation: Streets of Downtown Worthington - primarily along High Street (US
  23)\, from SR 161 south to South Street. Hours: The 2016 event is open to
  the community from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. VISITOR INFORMATION: On Market Day
 \, Worthington's largest one-day festival\, artisans gather on the streets
  of downtown Worthington to present a colorful and varied display of quali
 ty hand-crafted goods from jewelry\, pottery and ceramics to beautiful pai
 ntings\, decorative clothing and unique wood products. More than 250 exhib
 itors typically display their wares each year\, and an estimated crowd of 
 20\,000 visitors and residents enjoy the event throughout the day. Communi
 ty and local charitable groups also have fundraising and informational boo
 ths on display\, and a host of food vendors provide meals\, snacks and con
 cessions ranging from signature local restaurant dishes to carnival-atmosp
 here snacks. Event parking is available at Thomas Worthington High School\
 , 300 W. Dublin-Granville Road\, west of Evening Street. A free shuttle se
 rvice will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shuttles travel from the high sch
 ool to parking lot of The Worthington Inn and back\, and from the high sch
 ool to the Griswold Center and back. Worthington police\, engineering and 
 safety officials work year-long with the Chamber to plan for the anticipat
 ed people\, vehicles and business patronage the festival brings to our com
 munity. As the event nears\, please check website and Facebook posts from 
 local government that explain traffic patterns and parking accommodations 
 on the day of the event. Limited parking may be available at the Worthingt
 on United Methodist Church via Hartford Street\, and at the Worthington Mu
 nicipal Parking Lot west of High Street behind The Worthington Inn. The mu
 nicipal parking lot on E. New England Avenue is reserved for handicapped p
 arking only during the event. Market Day is the ideal time to support your
  favorite downtown businesses and local community groups. Many other commu
 nity groups take advantage of the lively atmosphere on Market Day\, with n
 eighbors and guests assembling in the heart of our community\, to offer co
 mplementary activities for all ages. Watch for announcements about activit
 ies from libraries\, the historical society\, schools\, senior organizatio
 ns and downtown merchants. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION: Watch this site for regi
 stration information for Market Day 2017. APPLICATION PROCEDURES Returning
  or preapproved exhibitors may apply online (use the REGISTER NOW link to

 ion\, available for download with the links below. New exhibitors are aske

 unt is available through July 31. For general information or assistance\,

 s & Crafts Vendors: All items sold must be handmade or handcrafted. No com
 mercial or manufactured products will be accepted. Priority will be given 
 to exhibitors selling their own work. Applicants who did not participate i
 n the 2016 event must submit two clear photographs of their product(s) and
  one photograph of their display booth for review. Returning or preapprove
 d vendors may apply online with the REGISTER NOW link to the right of the 
 screen. Community Groups: Community organizations are encouraged to sell h
 andmade or handcrafted items\; commercial products will be accepted only i
 f they relate to the group’s mission. Community groups that have not par
 ticipated in Market Day in the past must sell a product or food item. For 
 food items requiring cooking or refrigeration (e.g.\, grilled brats)\, ven
 dors are responsible for obtaining a temporary food license from Columbus 
 Public Health (fee not included in Market Day application fee). Returning 
 or preapproved vendors may apply online with the REGISTER NOW link to the 
 right of the screen. Food Vendors: Priority will be given to food vendors 
 who offer unique food offerings that are reasonably priced and will enhanc
 e the experience of those attending the arts and crafts festival. Applican
 ts who did not participate in the 2015 event must submit photographs of th
 eir product(s) and display booth for review. Food vendors are responsible 
 for obtaining all necessary food permits (available at this link) to compl
 y with Columbus Public Health regulations. Returning or preapproved vendor
 s may apply online with the REGISTER NOW link to the right of the screen. 
 Equipment: Participants are responsible for providing all of their booth m
 aterials and equipment. Permits and Licenses: The State of Ohio requires a
  vendor’s license for reporting sales tax. Each exhibitor must obtain a 
 vendor’s permit prior to the event. All permits must be available for in
 spection\, if necessary\, on the day of the event. For additional informat

 ors and community groups selling or serving food must obtain their own tem

 bus Public Health Department. Liability By completing the application\, th
 e exhibitor/vendor hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Old Worthi
 ngton Market Day\, the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and the City o
 f Worthington\, their volunteers and representatives from any and all liab
 ility arising from participation in this event\, including theft of proper
 ty/merchandise\, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor\, his or her r
 epresentatives or any other person\, caused by fire\, theft\, water or acc
 idents of any sort. In consideration of this agreement\, the exhibitor exp
 ressly waives any and all claims\, legal or otherwise\, for personal injur
 y and/or property damage sustained while on any part of the premise occupi
 ed by Old Worthington Market Day\, the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerc
