DESCRIPTION:Chamber members and the public are invited to participate in a 
 Community Shred & E-Waste Drop-Off Day on Tuessday\, April 26\, from 12:30
  to 4 p.m. in the parking lot at Schreiner Ace Hardware. Shred Day offers 
 an opportunity for safe disposal of both sensitive documents and used elec
 tronic devices. Identity theft has become one of the fastest growing crime
 s in the United States. One of the most effective ways to protect against 
 identity theft is to shred sensitive financial and personal information. A
 s a "cost" for the services\, donations will be accepted for Chamber-spons
 ored scholarships\, which include annual Women's Business Network scholars
 hips for Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne students\, Leadershi
 p Worthington class sponsorships\, support to the Ohio Business Week Found
 ation\, and training and development benefits for Chamber members. Both ca
 sh and check donations will be accepted. Documents Royal Document Destruct
 ion\, a certified AAA National Association of Information Destruction (NAI
 D®) provider and a recipient of the Business First “Fast Fifty” award
 .\, will conduct mobile shredding at the event. Businesses and residents c
 an clear out old tax files or sensitive information\, protect against iden
 tify theft\, help the environment and support Chamber-sponsored scholarshi
 ps by dropping off these types of documents: Legal documents Receipts Tax 
 and medical records Bank statements and old checks Credit card statements 
 Financial records Insurance documents Any other sensitive paper documents 
 Experienced professionals from Royal Document Destruction will shred sensi
 tive documents on-site at a mobile shred truck\, for your immediate inspec
 tion. Each box should be a size that a person of average strength can lift
  and carry. To prevent sensitive documents from spilling out and blowing a
 way\, open boxes or bags are not accepted. According to the EPA\, to make 
 1 ton of paper using recycled fiber saves 17 trees\, 3.3 cubic yards of la
 ndfill space\, 360 gallons of water\, 100 gallons of gasoline\, 60 pounds
