 ngton invite you to a speaker series that focuses our collaborative attent
 ion to exceptional learning opportunities for the business community. The 
 Eggs & Issues breakfast series – an extension of our growing Economic De
 velopment Committee and our popular Groundhog Day forecast breakfast – p
 rovides thoughtful discussion on development affairs in Worthington and it
 s surrounding environs. The quarterly events will feature well-regarded re
 gional or statewide subject matter experts in economic development\, commu
 nity development\, urban planning\, and related matters. The series contin
 ues on Dec. 7\, from 7 to 9 a.m. at Holiday Inn Columbus-Worthington. A bu
 ffet breakfast will be served. Check-in and networking will begin at 7 a.m
 .\, and the program will begin at 7:30 a.m. Our speaker will be Mark A. Ru
 ssell\, president and chief operating officer of Worthington Industries si
 nce August 2012. He joined the company in 2007 as president of Worthington
  Steel. Russell began his career as an attorney for Kirkland & Ellis in 19
 89. In 1992\, he joined Gerrity Oil & Gas Company as a corporate attorney.
  Russell joined the legal staff at Alumax\, Inc.\, in 1994. Two years late
 r\, he was promoted to vice president of Alumax Materials Management. In 1
 998\, he was named president of Alumax Foils\, Inc. Russell was named mana
 ger of corporate development for Alcoa\, Inc.\, in 1999\, where he was res
 ponsible for selected acquisition and divestiture activities. In 2000\, he
  was promoted to general manager of Alcoa's global engineered aerospace pr
 oducts business unit. In 2002\, Russell was named chief executive officer 
 of Indalex\, Inc.\, one of the world's largest producers of extruded alumi
 num products. Russell had most recently formed a private equity acquisitio
 n group in connection with Navigant Capital Advisors. Russell earned his B
 achelor of Science from Weber State University and his Juris Doctor from B
 righam Young University. He is married with four children and resides in P
 owell\, Ohio. Worthington Industries is a leading global diversified metal
