DESCRIPTION:The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and The Shops at Worth
 ington Place have invited the public to have a “Healthy New Year\, Worth
 ington!” at the fourth annual Health & Fitness Expo\, to ring in the new
  year on a healthy note for the entire community. The event is planned for
  Thursday\, Jan. 7\, from noon to 5 p.m. at The Shops at Worthington Place
 \, 7227 N. High St.\, followed by a Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m.\
 , sponsored by The Maurer Group. (See the separate calendar listing and re
 gistration opportunity for the Business After Hours on the Chamber website
  calendar.) Mount Carmel Health System is the presenting sponsor of the 20
 16 event. Visitors to the Expo can learn about a variety of services and f
 acilities provided by Mount Carmel\, including the new MC Fitness & Health
  center nearby in Lewis Center\, a 130\,000-square-foot campus with fitnes
 s and health resources and physician offices. Corporate sponsors known to 
 date include Wesley Glen Retirement Community\, Alyfe Wellbeing Strategies
 \, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield\, and The Laurels of Norworth and Worth
 ington. The Expo will include: health and fitness exhibits\, screenings an
 d giveaways from more than 50 exhibitors\, including many Chamber-member b
 usinesses in the health care field. The group includes hospitals\, wellnes
