 hly meeting on Thursday\, June 25\, from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Worthingto

 n 43085 Our discussion topic this month: Is a "virtual office" the creativ
 e solution for YOUR home business? A virtual office is an increasingly pop
 ular and creative way for businesses to grow\, serve clients in a variety 
 of locations\, and focus talents on work\, rather than commuting. Going "v
 irtual" by harnessing the power of the Internet also can help business own
 ers save cash\, increase profits and expand their reach. Fellow SOHO parti
 cipant and former Chamber trustee Peter Macrae will share his favorable ex
 periences in developing a virtual office that have broadened his success\,
  international scope and personal enjoyment of Macrae ARCHitecture LLC\, h
 is architectural firm. About the presenter: Peter S. Macrae\, AIA\, has 38
  years of experience in architectural design\, project management and busi
 ness development and is registered as an architect in 36 states. His focus
  is on the acquisition and design of strategically planned\, environmental
  design projects\, both nationally and internationally. He is principal of
  Macrae ARCHitecture\, LLC and also acts as the consulting principal for i
 ndividual projects. Recently\, Peter has led the design and development of
  several large-scale\, mixed-use masterplans in several states. His projec
 ts have won numerous national design awards and have been published in a v
 ariety of national and international publications. Peter is a favored spea
 ker at trade show conferences and he has recently taught a seminar for gra
 duate architecture students at Georgia Tech. Peter currently serves on sev
 eral nonprofit boards and also serves on the Ohio Department of Education
 ’s curriculum evaluation board. Peter recently taught environmental bran
 ding at The Ohio State University in the Knowlton School of Architecture t
 o Masters of Architecture candidates. If you work in a home office or "wea

 er's Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) subgroup is for you. At each monthly 
 "brown bag lunch" style meeting\, members exchange best practices and busi
 ness leads and learn from experts about topics that affect small business 
 owners and home-based businesses\, including legal\, tax\, organizational\
 , IT and marketing/promotion issues. Business and Associate Members of the
  Chamber are eligible to join SOHO. SOHO members pay a subgroup participat
 ion fee of $30 per year\, in addition to their regular Chamber dues. A pro
 spective SOHO group member may attend the meeting free of charge for a one
 -month period and then may choose sign up for the group with the $30 annua
