 ou do not need to be present for both audition days. This is a music only 
 competition and is open to any vocalist and/or musician 18 years and older
 . The finals event for this local talent contest is scheduled yearly at Th
 e Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center. This year's date is Saturday\, April 25\
 , starting at 2 p.m. The first-place prize is $3\,000\; second-place prize
  is $2\,000\; and third-place prize is $1\,000! Tickets to event for visit
 ors are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door. (Children 13 and u
 nder are free if seats are available.) Founding corporate sponsors are Wor
 thingtn Realty and Oatts Music in cooperation with The Peggy R. McConnell
