DESCRIPTION:Chamber members and the public are invited to participate in a 
 Community Shred & E-Waste Drop-Off Day on Tuesday\, April 21\, from 12:30 
 to 4 p.m. in the parking lot at AAA Ohio Auto Club. Enter the parking lot 
 from East Wilson Bridge Road and follow the Shred Day signs. The event off
 ers an opportunity for safe disposal of both sensitive documents and used 
 electronic devices. Identity theft has become one of the fastest growing c
 rimes in the United States. One of the most effective ways to protect agai
 nst identity theft is to shred sensitive financial and personal informatio
 n. As a "cost" for the services\, donations will be accepted for Chamber-s
 ponsored scholarships\, which include annual Women's Business Network scho
 larships for Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne students\, Leade
 rship Worthington class sponsorships\, support to the Ohio Business Week F
 oundation\, and training and development benefits for Chamber members. Bot
 h cash and check donations will be accepted. Documents Royal Document Dest
 ruction\, a certified AAA National Association of Information Destruction 
 (NAID®) provider and a recipient of the Business First “Fast Fifty” a
 ward.\, will conduct mobile shredding at the event. Businesses and residen
 ts can clear out old tax files or sensitive information\, protect against 
 identify theft\, help the environment and support Chamber-sponsored schola
 rships by dropping off these types of documents: Legal documents Receipts 
 Tax and medical records Bank statements and old checks Credit card stateme
 nts Financial records Insurance documents Any other sensitive paper docume
 nts Experienced professionals from Royal Document Destruction will shred s
 ensotive documents on-site at a mobile shred truck\, for your immediate in
 spection. Each box should be a size that a person of average strength can 
 lift and carry. To prevent sensitive documents from spilling out and blowi
 ng away\, open boxes or bags are not accepted. According to the EPA\, to m
 ake 1 ton of paper using recycled fiber saves 17 trees\, 3.3 cubic yards o
 f landfill space\, 360 gallons of water\, 100 gallons of gasoline\, 60 pou
