 ngton invite you to a quarterly speaker series that focuses our collaborat
 ive attention to exceptional learning opportunities for the business commu
 nity. The Eggs & Issues breakfast series – an extension of our growing E
 conomic Development Committee and our popular Groundhog Day forecast break
 fast – provides thoughtful discussion on development affairs in Worthing
 ton and its surrounding environs. The quarterly events will feature well-r
 egarded regional or statewide subject matter experts in economic developme
 nt\, community development\, urban planning\, and related matters. The ser
 ies continues on Wednesday\, July 29\, from 7 to 9 a.m. at Holiday Inn Col
 umbus-Worthington in the Griswold ballroom. A buffet breakfast will be ser
 ved. Check-in and networking begin at 7 a.m.\; the program begins at 7:30 
 a.m. The second event in our series will center on workforce development a
 nd will feature a panel of regional and local experts\, including: Dawn La
 rzelere\, Director\, Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation Brad Mi
 tchell\, Managing Director\, Battelle for Kids\, BFK Invest Trent Bowers\,
  Superintendent\, Worthington Schools Join the discussion about workforce 
 development ... How can government leaders\, educators and employers work 
 together to create a unified workforce system to helps employers find the 
 skilled workers they need to succeed and grow? How can we ensure that work
 ers access the skills training and resources they need to compete for in-d
 emand jobs? A question-and-answer session will follow\, facilitated by Jef
 fry Harris\, economic development manager\, City of Worthington\, and Kath
 ryn Paugh\, president and CEO\, Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce.\n\nh
