DESCRIPTION:You win when you lose! Join others in the Community Weight Loss
  Challenge ... A 10-week health challenge for individuals and companies\, 
 promoting weight loss and overall fitness\, will be launched in conjunctio
 n with the Chamber's second annual "Healthy New Year\, Worthington" Health
  & Fitness Expo on Jan. 9 at The Shops at Worthington Place. This website 
 registration page is your opportunity to sign up online to participate in 
 the challenge. (Please do not sign up online if you have already signed up
  in person at the Health & Fitness Expo or if you plan to do so.) The chal
 lenge began on Monday\, Jan. 13\, but you may join in at any time during t
 he 10 weeks. A fee of $5 will be collected with your registration (later t
 o be donated to the nonprofit whose team has the highest average weight lo
 ss among all team participants). When you click REGISTER NOW on the screen
  at right\, you will be directed to the page where you may enter your majo
 r credit card for payment of the $5. After following the prompts\, be sure
  to click "submit" to ensure that your registration is validated. You must
  also complete the fields for your name\, date of birth\, choice of charit
 y "team" and email address to complete your registration and enable you to
  receive confidential information from the Community Weight Loss Challenge
  corporate wellness website. Choose a "team" from four local non-profits: 
 the Chamber\; Healthy Worthington Resource Center & Food Pantry\; Leadersh
 ip Worthington\; or the Worthington Educational Foundation. (At the conclu
 sion of the challenge\, the team with the highest percent of weight loss w
 ill receive the collective $5 contributions.) When successfully registered
 \, you will receive a confirmation message. Within a few days you will rec
 eive an email directing you to a confidential\, HIPAA-compliant corporate 
 wellness website. The site is maintained by RiteForYou Corporate Wellness\
 , a professional wellness organization\, not the Chamber\, and none of you
 r information will be accessible to\, or shared with\, the Chamber or any 
 other party. When you reach the website landing page\, you will be asked t
 o: self-report your weight and activity levels on a weekly basis by enteri
 ng them into the appropriate area on the website receive nutrition and fit
 ness tips access numerous supportive resources for maintaining a healthy l
 ifestyle be encouraged to return to the Shops at Worthington place to "mal
 l walk" once weekly for 10 weeks (on Mondays at noon\; meet at the childre
 n's play area) have weight loss percentage "credited" to the preferred non
 profit team At the conclusion of the Community Weight Loss Challenge on Ma
 rch 24\, the average percent of weight loss on each "team" will be calcula
 ted. The winning nonprofit team will be announced and will receive the mon
 etary donation approximately one week after the challenge concludes. For m
