  of Downtown Worthington - primarily along High Street (SR 23)\, from SR 1
 61 south to South Street\, and on the Village Green. Hours: Event starts a
 t 9 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. VISITOR INFORMATION: Market Day\, Worthingt
 on's largest one-day festival\, captures the spirit of earlier days when f
 armers brought their crops to market. Today artisans gather on the streets
  of Old Worthington to present a colorful and varied display of quality ha
 nd-crafted goods from jewelry\, pottery and ceramics to beautiful painting
 s\, decorative clothing and unique wood products. More than 250 exhibitors
  are expected to display their wares. Other attractions include the Worthi
 ngton Historical Society Flea Market\; the Friends Foundation of Worthingt
 on Libraries Market Day Book Sale\; Farmers Market vendors on the southwes
 t Village Green\; a children's activity area and musical performances. Eve
 nt parking is available at Thomas Worthington High School\, 300 W. Dublin-
 Granville Road\, west of Evening Street. A free shuttle service will run f
 rom 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shuttles will travel from the high school to park
 ing lot of The Worthington Inn and back\, and from the high school to the 
 Griswold Center and back. Limited parking is also available at the Worthin
 gton United Methodist Church via Hartford Street\, and at the Worthington 
 Municipal Parking Lot west of High Street behind The Worthington Inn. The 
 municipal parking lot on E. New England Avenue is reserved for handicapped
  parking only during the event. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION: APPLICATION PROCEDU
 RES There are different application procedures for first-time vendors and 
 vendors who have participated in the event previously. For those who have 
 participated in previous Market Day events\, there is an online applicatio
 n option. First-time vendors in Old Worthington Market Day should apply by
  mail using the printed form available below and supply two clear photogra
 phs of their product(s) and one photograph of their display booth for revi
 ew. Application Deadline: Early-bird discount ends at the close of busines
 s on Wednesday\, July 31 (full fee applies after this date). Payment: Paym
 ent in full must be received with your completed application in the form o
 f a check (made payable to Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce) or by VIS
 A\, MasterCard\, Discover or American Express. Online registration using a
  credit card is available to vendors who have participated in Old Worthing
 ton Market Day in the past. Eligibility Arts & Crafts Vendors: All items s
 old must be handmade or handcrafted. No commercial or manufactured product
 s will be accepted. Priority will be given to exhibitors selling their own
  work. Applicants who did not participate in the 2012 event must submit tw
 o clear photographs of their product(s) and one photograph of their displa
 y booth for review. Photos may be emailed to connect@worthingtonchamber.or
 g . Mailed photos accompanied with a self-addressed\, stamped envelope wil
 l be returned. Community Groups: Community organizations are encouraged to
  sell handmade or handcrafted items\; commercial products will be accepted
  only if they relate to the group’s mission. Community groups that have 
 not participated in Market Day in the past must sell a product or food ite
 m. For food items requiring cooking or refrigeration (e.g.\, grilled brats
 )\, vendors are responsible for obtaining a temporary food license from Co
 lumbus Public Health (fee not included in Market Day application fee). A p

 Food2013 . Pre-packaged bake sale items are not subject to permit regulati
 ons. First-time participants must mail photos of products and booth with t
 heir applications\, or email the images to connect@worthingtonchamber.org 
 . Food Vendors: Priority will be given to food vendors who offer unique fo
 od offerings that are reasonably priced and will enhance the experience of
  those attending the arts and crafts festival. Applicants who did not part
 icipate in the 2012 event must submit photographs of their product(s) and 
 display booth for review. Food vendors are responsible for obtaining all n
 ecessary food permits to comply with Columbus Public Health regulations. (
 See the links to permit applications and regulations above.) Photos may be
  emailed to connect@worthingtonchamber.org . Mailed photos accompanied wit
 h a self-addressed\, stamped envelope will be returned. Farmers' Market Ve
 ndors: Current vendors in the Worthington Farmers Market and past particip
 ants in Old Worthington Market Day will be accepted. The rate schedule bel
 ow on the Farmers Market Vendor application reflects a 30 percent discount
  off standard vendor rates. Farmers' Market vendors who participate at the
  discounted rate will be grouped on the southwest Village Green. Farmers' 
 Market vendors who wish to participate at the standard Market Day rate\, w
 ith placement on High Street\, should apply at the Food Vendor rate\; see 
 above. Disposition of Request: A postcard or e-mail message\, indicating w
 hether a request to participate in the event has been accepted or rejected
 \, will be sent within 10 days of the receipt of an application. Booth Ass
 ignment: The assignment of the booth location is based on a number of fact
 ors\, including previous booth assignment\, access to electricity\, total 
 space needs\, type of craft or artwork and special needs identified by the
  vendor. Booth set-up on the day of the event starts at 7 a.m.\; tear-down
  ends by 6 p.m. Notification: Vendor information packets\, including booth
  number(s)\, will be mailed early in September. Equipment: Participants ar
 e responsible for providing all of their booth materials and equipment. Pe
 rmits and Licenses: The State of Ohio requires a vendor’s license for re
 porting sales tax. Each exhibitor must obtain a vendor’s permit prior to
  the event. All permits must be available for inspection\, if necessary\,

 ion\, the exhibitor/vendor hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ol
 d Worthington Market Day\, the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and th
 e City of Worthington\, their volunteers and representatives from any and 
 all liability arising from participation in this event\, including theft o
 f property/merchandise\, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor\, his 
 or her representatives or any other person\, caused by fire\, theft\, wate
 r or accidents of any sort. In consideration of this agreement\, the exhib
 itor expressly waives any and all claims\, legal or otherwise\, for person
 al injury and/or property damage sustained while on any part of the premis
 e occupied by Old Worthington Market Day\, the Worthington Area Chamber of
  Commerce and the City of Worthington\, and representatives held harmless
