DESCRIPTION:Get Ready ... Get Set ... QuickConnect! QuickConnect is the Cha
 mber's direct sales opportunity for members\, giving participants the oppo
 rtunity to determine quickly if there is a fit in meeting each other's bus
 iness or personal consumer needs. It's fun\, fast and very effective. The 
 July 19 session will be held at AAA Ohio Auto Club\, 90 E. Wilson Bridge R
 oad\, Worthington\, from 8:15 to 10 a.m. (Check-in is at 8:15 a.m. Please 
 be sure to arrive at this time so the start of the timed exercise will not
  be delayed.) The event will end at 10 a.m. The QuickConnect session is st
 ructured so that each participant will make one-on-one contact with 10 oth
 ers. Participants face each other and have 90 seconds to discuss their com
 pany's products or services. Following each contact\, participants indicat
 e the next steps\, including talking further about doing business\; not a 
 fit\; and offering a referral. Prior to the session\, participants are pro
 vided a business profile/feedback form to complete and bring 11 copies to 
 the session. Please note: You should plan to attend QuickConnect ONLY if y
 ou have received a confirmation of your attendance and a copy of the quest
 ionnaire to complete\, or a notice that your business category is full and
  you will scheduled at another date. Considerable care is taken to match Q
 uickConnect participants with other Chamber connections. Therefore\, we ar
 e unable to accommodate walk-ins or unregistered attendees for this sessio
 n. For the same reasons\, it is important that you contact us to cancel if
  you will be unable to fill your scheduled space at QuickConnect so that w
 e can rearrange the networking layout to ensure others are not inconvenien
 ced. QuickConnect is free for members who pre-register -- but there is a $
 20 fee for those who do not honor their reservation or cancel with less th
 an 24-hour notification. To make the session as meaningful as possible to 
 participants\, the number of businesses from a single business category (b
 anks\, insurance\, financial services\, etc.) will be limited to two busin
 esses. In addition\, members who have not previously participated in Quick
 Connect are given preference over those from the same business category wh
 o have attended a recent session. This procedure expands interest in Quick
 Connect and helps all participants receive the maximum benefit from the ex
