DESCRIPTION:Nomination Deadline for Business of Character Award (Chamber-PC
 C Partnership) Submit your nomination by 5 p.m. on July 9. The Worthington
  Area Chamber of Commerce partners with Partners for Citizenship and Chara
 cter (PCC) to bestow the “Business of Character Award” for Chamber-mem
 ber businesses that demonstrate outstanding citizenship and character base
 d on PCC’s “12 Qualities of Citizenship and Character.” They are: to
 lerance\, honesty\, diligence\, commitment\, trustworthiness\, moral coura
 ge\, spirituality\, integrity\, respect\, responsibility\, self-discipline
  and compassion. The award will be made two times each year. Four judges r
 epresenting the two organizations select the recipients. Nominations may b
 e made by Chamber-member businesses\, or by employees or clients of a Cham
 ber-member business\, or PCC members. Self-nomination also is encouraged. 
 The award does not replace or conflict with the Chamber’s Small Business
  Person of the Year Award. To nominate a Chamber-member business for the a
 ward\, e-mail a word-processed document that satisfies the nomination crit
 eria described below to kathryn@worthingtonchamber.org . Nominee informati
 on should include business name\, main contact name and title\, complete a
 ddress\, phone and fax number and e-mail. Nominator information should inc
 lude your name\, business name and title\, complete address\, phone and fa
 x number and e-mail. Describe briefly the work of the nominated organizati
 on\, including the number of employees and when the business was founded. 
 The nominee must be a current business member of the Chamber. (To verify C
 hamber membership\, search the online business directory on this Web site 
 or phone 888-3040.) Describe ways in which the nominated business has demo
 nstrated outstanding citizenship and character based on PCC’s 12 qualiti
 es. Submit any pertinent documents\, testimonials or letters of support re
